The Riv_arc layer was intially registered to the US Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5 minute quadrangles, and then adjusted visually at approximately 1:10000 using the 1998 Spencer Gross aerial photography. Where photography was not available or banks and streambeds obscured, the USGS quad topography was used. Some streams, usually major streams, are registered to the tax lot map.</horizpar>

Stream centerlines and banks were adjusted or digitized at approximately 1:10000 using the 1998 Spencer Gross aerial photography. Where photography was not available or banks and streambeds obscured, the USGS quad topography was used. The dataset has not been field checked.</procdesc>
