Registered to tax lots. Street center lines were digitized from aerial orthophotography at +/- 10 feet accuracy. Tax lots were fit to the street centerlines. Beaverton, Oregon City and Tigard planning areas were improved to +/- 5 feet accuracy. Multnomah County was created with coordinate geometry using better control.
Parks were digitized from two sources: 1. Metropolitan Area Parks, A Directory of Parks and Recreational Facilities in the Region, Metro, June, 1989. 2. Assessor information: Clackamas and Washington Counties: Assessor Property Classification for Assessment (PCA) Code. Multnomah County: Assessor Exemption Code.

Horizontal positional accuracy in city of Portland was corrected as part of re-mapping project.

This layer was reprojected to the NAD83/91 projection (also known as HPGN) as part of a conversion of all RLIS map layers.

Updates were made based on Metro bond measure 26-26 acquisitions and local park provided acquisitions.

Ownership and jurisdiction fields were dropped. Jurisdiction was largely used to create the Custodian field. Custodian field is the entity, public or private, that manages the land and facilities of the park or open space.
